Ivan Cavaleiro is playing well for Wolverhampton Wanderers under Nuno Espirito Santo at the moment.
Cavaleiro joined Wolves in the Championship in England from French club AS Monaco in the summer of 2016.
According to Express & Star, the Wanderers had to pay the Ligue 1 outfit a transfer fee of £7 million in order to secure the services of the 24-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as a forward.
The forward scored five goals and provided five assists in 17 Championship starts for Wolves last season.
So far this campaign, the Portugal international has scored six goals and provided five assists in 12 league starts.
Cavaleiro is flourishing at the Molineux Stadium this season under Nuno Espirito Santo, who was appointed as the club’s head coach in the summer of 2017.
The former Benfica attacker has revealed what his compatriot Nuno told him in the summer when he arrived at Wolves.
“We had a conversation when he arrived at the club,” Express & Star quotes Cavaleiro as saying. “He told me he wanted to help me grow as a player and make a better season than the last.
“He’s been a very important person to me. He and his technical staff – they are all concerned with our physical and personal wellbeing.
“Fortunately, it has gone very well. We understand each other in attack, I hope it continues.”
