Iva Jovic is enjoying a dream run at the Australian Open, next taking on top 10 player Jasmine Paolini.
American sensation Jovic has already knocked her compatriot Katie Volynets and Priscilla Hon out of the Grand Slam.
The 18-year-old now meets WTA number eight Paolini in the third round of the Australian Open in Melbourne.
Jovic is also playing doubles at the hard-court tournament, where she is into the second round alongside fellow teenage star Victoria Mboko.

Iva Jovic wants ‘more chances’ to talk with Novak Djokovic at the Australian Open
After her latest victory in Australia, Jovic was compared to tennis legend Monica Seles in her on-court interview.
When asked if she or anyone else has influenced her career, the American replied: “Yeah, I definitely had a bit of a Monica Seles in there.
“She has a similar background as well, so I would always look up to her. Novak Djokovic was a big one for me, so it’s pretty cool to be playing a tournament that he’s playing in as well.
“So hopefully I get more chances to speak with him, I know he’s playing tomorrow, but yeah that would be pretty cool.”

Iva Jovic and Victoria Mboko are the young players to watch on the WTA Tour
Jovic could gain fantastic insight from even a brief discussion with ATP legend Djokovic, who incidentally won the match she was referring to.
Like Jovic, he is into the third round of the Australian Open, a tournament the 38-year-old has won a record 10 times in the men’s game.
He is a 24-time Grand Slam champion in total, needing one more to break the all-time record, while her other idol Seles claimed a superb nine titles during her time on the court.
But Jovic has already achieved superb feats in her very brief career so far, claiming her maiden WTA title in 2025.
She went all the way in Guadalajara, with the talented American youngster currently in her career-high rank of 27.
Jovic is undoubtedly one of, if not the young player to watch on the WTA Tour, although her doubles partner Mboko is definitely in that category too.
The Canadian, who won the Canadian Open last year, is also among the players in the third round in Melbourne.
And rather fittingly, both Mboko and Jovic reached finals right before the Grand Slam, although they lost in Adelaide and Hobart respectively.
