Dharmesh Sheth has told Sky Sports that Arsenal duo, Eddie Nketiah and Konstantinos Mavropanos, are heading for the exit door.
The Sky journalist shared that despite Nketiah being offered a contract by Arsenal, a new deal didn’t transpire and now four clubs are now keen on his services, including Bayer Leverkusen.
As for Mavropanos, Arsenal fans have seen very little of the defender since they signed him from Greece in 2018.
But it seems as though it’s ‘very likely’ he will be a Stuttgart player next season after he spent a productive loan spell at the German outfit in 2020/21.
If the above duo head for the North London exit door then it probably won’t surprise fans given the fact they have hardly seen one player in action.
And the other struggled to break into a team that finished outside of Europe last term.
Either way, this is what Sheth had to say about Nketiah and Mavropanos’ futures in Arsenal colours.
“As for departures, Eddie Nketiah,” said Sheth. “Now, there was talk about an extension to his contract. He only has one year left.
“I am now being told that Arsenal are listening to offers for Eddie Nketiah. They tried to tie him down to a new deal but it hasn’t transpired that they managed to do that.
“Bayer Leverkusen are one of four clubs we are told that are interested. The other three, we are told come from the Premier League.
“And one more line to bring you, Konstantinos Mavropanos, he’s been on-loan for the majority of his Arsenal career, so far.
“Lately, he was on loan at Stuttgart, they really like him, he really likes Stuttgart and it’s very likely that a permanent deal to Stuttgart could happen because both clubs are still in talks over a deal.”

It seems as though the clearout at Arsenal is underway and it might just be a common theme at the club this summer.
Arsenal fans will, no doubt, want to see a number of fresh faces walk through their doors.
But it seems as though until a number of the current crop are talking off the wage bill then they cannot push for the likes of Ben White and Ruben Neves.
