Fabrizio Romano has told the Here We Go Podcast that Tottenham Hotspur have a clear chance to sign Milan Skriniar from inter Milan now.
Tottenham launched a bid for Skriniar in the summer transfer window, but were unable to get a deal over the line.
Spurs ultimately went out and signed Joe Rodon instead, as Jose Mourinho bolstered his side’s backline.
Skriniar has since gone on to play fairly frequently for Inter this term, and has started in almost every game when he has been fit.
The Slovakian has looked solid, but Inter apparently remain willing to offload Skriniar, if a bid of the right price comes in.
“Milan Skriniar situation hasn’t changed,” Romano said.
“Inter Milan needs money, if Tottenham arrives tomorrow morning with 50M-60M euros, Inter will sell him. It’s up to Tottenham now.”

Whether Spurs will launch another bid for Skriniar in January remains up in the air.
Tottenham have started this campaign brilliantly, and Rodon performed well on his full debut, as he helped the North London side keep a clean sheet against Chelsea.
However, there will surely be a realisation that the opportunity to sign a player of Skriniar’s quality does not come around too frequently, and Spurs may be tempted to make a repeat bid in the new year.
