Gareth Bale’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, has told talkSPORT the wing wizard could stay at Tottenham beyond his season-long loan spell.
When asked if the Welshman could stay beyond this season, Barnett told The Sports Bar: “Yeah. There are lots of opportunities.
“It’s up to him. The most important thing is for him to enjoy his football and that he’s playing well. As long as that’s happening, it’ll all be fine.”
The Wales international sealed a romantic return to Spurs after a turbulent last few campaigns at Real Madrid.
He made just 12 La Liga starts last term and Barnett told talkSPORT it was “all agreed his career at Real Madrid was over”.
Given what Bale achieved at the Bernabeu, it shouldn’t have ended like this.

The former Southampton man won four Champions League titles in the Spanish capital, scoring crucial goals against Liverpool in the 2018 final including a stunning bicycle kick.
Bale also won the Copa del Rey for Los Blancos in his first campaign, scoring the winner with an outrageous solo goal in which he ran almost the entire length of the touchline.

In total, he netted 105 goals for Real Madrid.
Amazingly, that is more than the iconic Brazilian Ronaldo scored for the club, having amassed 104.
If Bale does well under Jose Mourinho this season, a second season in north London seems more than possible.
