Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to comments from Real Madrid president Florentino Perez last night.
Liverpool and Madrid are among the 12 clubs who have formed the European Super League.
Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Inter Milan and Barcelona are among the other clubs.
Madrid president Perez is the chairman of the Super League, and last night, he spoke extensively about the breakaway league.
The Spaniard said that no club who have signed up to the Super League can leave now.
Perez told Spanish TV show El Chiringuito de Jugones, as transcribed by The Telegraph: “The contract of the Super League is binding. Nobody can leave, we will work all together. All the clubs signed the contracts last Saturday, there’s no problem.”
Some Liverpool fans have given their take on Perez’s remarks, and below are some of the best comments on Twitter.

The European Super League is hugely controversial, and there is widespread opposition.
Perez’s comments last night appear to suggest that the European Super League will go ahead regardless.
However, this is a very fast-moving situation, and things could change. Anything is possible at the moment.
Perhaps the European Super League, UEFA, FIFA and the domestic leagues will come to a compromise and will work out a deal in the coming weeks.
