Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has told Leeds Live that Robin Koch has adapted to the Premier League very quickly.
Koch joined Premier League club Leeds from German side Freiburg in the summer transfer window.
Bielsa has been impressed by how quickly the 24-year-old central defender has adapted to the Premier League.
The Argentine told Leeds Live when asked about Koch’s quick adaptation to the Premier League: “There’s no strict rules in this sense, there’s a lot of variation, but it’s true Koch has had a very quick adaptation.”
Immediate impact
Koch has made an immediate impact at Leeds and has established himself as an important player in the first team already.
According to WhoScored, the 24-year-old, who can also operate as a defensive midfielder, has played six times for the West Yorkshire club so far this season.
The defender arrived at Elland Road with a good reputation, having established himself in the Bundesliga.
Koch has also won four caps for Germany, and given that he is 24 years of age, he is very likely to improve and get better, especially under Bielsa.
Meanwhile, Rodrigo has praised his Leeds United teammate Patrick Bamford.
The Spain international, who can operate as a striker or as a winger, is pleased for the former Chelsea and Nottingham Forest striker.
Rodrigo told LUTV: “I think Patrick is doing very good at the start of the season, has scored a lot of goals and [is] being an important player for us.”
