Danish outfit Randers FC will not stop £2 million star Tosin Kehinde joining Queens Park Rangers if the Championship outfit step up their interest, the midfielder’s agent tells AllNigeriaSoccer

The goals have dried up at Loftus Road. And, so too, have QPR’s promotion ambitions.

The season-ending injury suffered by Chris Willock has robbed Mark Warburton of arguably his most potent creator. And, without the former Arsenal youngster, Rangers have won just one of their last six Championship games, slipping to tenth in the table with just a couple of weeks remaining.

The arrival of Nigeria U21 international Kehinde would, in theory, ease QPR’s reliance upon Willock’s dazzling footwork and twinkle-toed unpredictability.

Kehinde has four goals and eight assists to his name this term and impressed against Leicester City in the UEFA Conference League.

Les Ferdinand, QPR’s director of football, was in attendance at the King Power Stadium on February 17th.

Kehinde, a one-time Manchester United youngster who held talks with Nottingham Forest back in 2018, is valued at £2 million but could be available for even less.

Can Tosin Kehinde take QPR to another level?

“Tosin is growing strong in Denmark,” says Emmanuel Oluwole Idowu, Kehinde’s agent. “He has developed and I think it’s time to move on.

“The club will be happy for him to take a step up. So it’s not going to be difficult for him to leave in the summer.”

Randers director Soren Pedersen insisted a couple of weeks ago that Kehinde ‘deserves’ the chance to show off his talents on a bigger stage.

He also confirms that club’s in England’s second tier had shown an interest.

“Obviously, the question remains what is the best league for him to go to,” Idowu adds. “He can’t go to a league where he’s not going to be recognised as he’s trying to break into the Super Eagles (squad).

“Returning to England is not an absolute must for the very reason that he has to be in a situation where he’s playing week in, week out. We have options in the German Bundesliga, France and England.

“And we are going to make the best possible decision.”
