Former Tottenham Hotspur right-back Serge Aurier has taken to Instagram to give his reaction to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal sending Nicolas Pepe out on loan to Nice.
Arsenal announced on their official website yesterday that winger Pepe has joined French club Nice on loan in the summer transfer window.
The Ivory Coast international winger will stay on loan at the Ligue 1 club until next summer.
Aurier, who is a free agent at the moment following his departure from Villarreal, has posted a message on his Instagram story about his Ivory Coast international teammate.

The former Tottenham defender wrote: ““Let’s go, it’s time for all.”

Loan exit sensible
In our view, Nicolas Pepe leaving Arsenal for Nice on loan in the summer transfer window did make sense.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta clearly did not think that the winger was good enough to play week in and week out for his team.
After all, the 27-year-old winger was able to make only five starts in the Premier League last season, and made 16 starts in the league in 2020-21.
Nice are a big and established club in France, and Pepe could be able to play regularly in Ligue 1 and get back to his best.
