Tottenham youngster was an unused substitute in the Steel City derby.

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Josh Onomah is struggling on loan at Sheffield Wednesday.
The midfielder was an unused substitute in the team’s biggest game of the season, Friday night’s Steel City derby against Sheffield United.
Onomah was left on the bench and even with the game finishing 0-0 and the Owls needing a matchwinner, there was no call for the loanee.
Premier League side Tottenham ought to be worried about Onomah’s fortunes.
As an England under-20 World Cup winner he is a player with great potential. He has not been able to build on this since.

Last season’s loan at Aston Villa is best described as decent but uninspiring. Villa did not push to bring him back.
At Wednesday so far he has yet to finish on the winning team, making six starts and one substitute appearance.
Onomah does have two assists, but his last appearance was disastrous, a 4-0 home defeat to Norwich City.
His performance was slated by fans after the loss and it was little surprise to see him omitted for the derby.
Tottenham have every right to be concerned over his progress, or lack of it.
