Ian Wright has said on the Wrighty’s House podcast that it is terrifying what reported Liverpool targets Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham could do off the bench at the European Championships.
Eurosport has claimed that Liverpool have their eyes on Bellingham, while the Athletic said that Jurgen Klopp’s side were monitoring Sancho’s situation earlier this week.
Liverpool will be able to keep a close eye on the pair this summer, as they have made it into England’s Euro 2020 squad.
Neither are guaranteed starters for the Three Lions, but Sancho thinks that they could cause havoc off the bench.
“When you look at Grealish, Sancho and Bellingham – you have the capability of calling on those three players,” he said.
“They are ripping teams apart. Can you imagine those three when they are riffing off each other? What they could do to the opposing team! It’s frightening, it’s terrifying!”
No impact sub roles at Liverpool

Of course, if Liverpool were to commit the funds to sign either Bellingham or Sancho it seems highly unlikely that they would be used in an impact sub role at Anfield.
However, if they do link up to the effect that Wright predicts then the rumoured interest is only set to be more exciting.
Liverpool fans could be left dreaming of what might be, if FSG do commit the funds to signing the pair.
At the moment, that appears to be a remote possibility.
But Liverpool are thought to be on the hunt for both a central midfielder and a winger this summer, and there is no question that Bellingham and Sancho look two of the most appealing options on the market.
