Liverpool fans have praised Trent Alexander-Arnold after he attended their women’s side’s game last night.
Alexander-Arnold watches on
Liverpool’s female team took on Blackburn Rovers in the cup and Alexander-Arnold was pictured in the stands watching on.
He was treated to an excellent Reds performance, as they won 2-1 at Tranmere.
Goals from Jade Bailey and Taylor Hinds ensured that Liverpool picked up three points in the group stage of the competition.
And Liverpool fans were very impressed with Alexander-Arnold for going out and showing his support.
Great to see
It is indeed great to see Alexander-Arnold giving some much deserved attention to the women’s game.
Liverpool’s women’s side have actually been in far better form than Jurgen Klopp’s men recently.
They are unbeaten in 11 games, while Liverpool’s men have struggled in recent weeks.
Alexander-Arnold will almost certainly have enjoyed what he saw during the contest too.
Liverpool played with real style at times, as they picked up what was a fairly comfortable victory in the end.
We hope to see more of Liverpool’s men’s first-team players attending women’s matches in the future, to help showcase the sport even more.
