Arsenal's Hector Bellerin battles for possession with Crystal Palace's Bakary Sako

According to a report from BBC Sport, Arsenal ace Hector Bellerin has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a ruptured ACL injury, and some Gunners fans took to Twitter in reaction to the news.

The 23-year-old is one of Unai Emery’s most important players, and the news will come as a huge blow to Arsenal’s hopes of finishing inside the top four this season.

Bellerin began his career with the Gunners, after joining the north London outfit from Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy in 2011, and he has gone on to rack up 181 appearances in all competitions.

The real worry for Arsenal is that they will now likely have to rely on either Stephan Lichtsteiner or Ainsley Maitland-Niles to deputise for the Spaniard.

The Swiss defender has been really disappointing since joining the Gunners in the summer, seeming to be way off the pace, whilst the young Englishman is by no means a right-back, and is often found wanting positionally.
