Demarai Gray has claimed that rumoured Liverpool target Jude Bellingham will play for a ‘top team’, as he told Sky Sports.
The Everton winger claims that it’s ‘scary’ to think how one of the most sought-after teenager’s is going to develop his game.
The 18-year-old is perhaps the best teenage footballer on the planet and, at this moment in time, working his magic for Borussia Dortmund.
But there are a number of European heavyweights keeping an eagle-eye on the Dortmund star.
Liverpool have had a long-standing interest in Bellingham, even before he moved to Dortmund, with 90Min reporting that the Reds are in regular contact with the German side about signing him.
Gray came through the same Birmingham City academy as Bellingham, played against him in the Bundesliga and had nothing but positive words to say about the midfielder.
“For Jude, it’s a different ball game,” said Gray. “At his age, the way he plays, how mature he is and how he is physically. He’s going to play for the top teams.
“He’s still so young. So, it’s kind of scary to see how he’s going to develop.
“But I think Jude taking the step to play out there, it’s clearly benefited him a lot and he has been with the England team. He’s improving non-stop.
“But, for sure, I am pretty sure he will be back in the Premier League.”

Bellingham certainly fits the mould of a Liverpool player, and in particular, somebody who would thrive in a Jurgen Klopp system.
Take your pick as to how you want to use him, in a defensive capacity where he is eating away at any attack that comes his way, a number eight role, where he still has defensive responsibilities but can also drive forward.
Or as a number ten, where you just unleash his talents in the final third.
In truth, he is better off as a number eight and just let him loose in that regard, but he has the physicality, ball-carrying ability, defensive understanding and goal threat to be that box-to-box midfielder.
