All eyes will be on Antonio Conte today to see if he selects Bryan Gil for Tottenham Hotspur’s visit to Bournemouth.
The 21-year-old Spaniard hasn’t kicked a ball in the Premier League yet this season, leading to probable frustration from the player.
Gil did, however, impress off the bench for a few minutes in the Champions League draw with Sporting Lisbon in midweek.
HITC Sport wrote about how it’s completely logical for Conte to unleash the £21 million Fabio Paratici signing versus the Cherries today.

And according to journalist Dean Jones, there’s a ‘real’ chance of the Spaniard wanting to quit the North Londoners, though he revealed that he felt Conte did see something in the player.
He told Give Me Sport: “I think it’s real there’s this doubt over his future, but I’m not convinced he’s going to go, I still think that Conte will be seeing something in him that’s a bit different from the other options he’s got on his bench at the moment.”
Honestly, Gil should probably consider a departure in January if his Premier League opportunities haven’t improved a lot since then.
At the moment, Conte has Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski out injured, so if he continues to snub the former Sevilla winger then that pretty much speaks volumes for how little Gil is rated by the Italian manager.
There’s undeniably a good player in there and hopefully for him and the North Londoners, Conte can unlock it.
