West Ham United target Adam Hlozek could leave Sparta Prague this summer while reports suggesting he’ll cost £15 million are on the money, agent Pavel Paska has told Aktualne.
When you consider no-one scored more goals in the Fortuna Liga last season than Hlozek – a tally of 15 made all the more impressive when you consider he played just 19 games because of injury – it’s hard to understand why the teen sensation was forced to watch on from the bench as the Czech Republic lost to Denmark in the Euro 2020 quarter-finals.
The Czechs needed a goal to take an intriguing last-eight clash to extra time.
But Jaroslav Silhavy decided against turning to an 18-year-old wonderkid some have labelled the most talented player to emerge from the country since Tomas Rosicky – much to the confusion of his agent.
“Adam is an extraordinary player. Despite his injuries he had an excellent season. That’s why I can’t understand why he wasn’t included in the match against Denmark. I can’t think of any explanation for that decision,” Paska explains.
Will Adam Hlozek move to West Ham after Euro 2020?
Hlozek made four substitute appearances at Euro 2020 but it remains to be seen whether his lack of game time will hinder his hopes of a big-money move to a continental colossus before the end of August.
The striker has been linked with Bayern Munich, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund.

In June, meanwhile, The Athletic reported Czech teammates Vladimir Coufal and Tomas Soucek had recommended Hlozek to West Ham, although David Moyes has doubts over whether the teenager could make an immediate impact in English football.
That will be music to the ears of many Sparta Prague fans, especially after Hlozek’s goals fired them to second place in the Czech league last term.
“Sparta want to advance to the Champions League, so they have extended Hlozek’s contract,” Paska adds.
“(Leaving) is possible. But it will always depend on the current situation whether Sparta succeeds in its goals or not.
“The amount (reported, £15 million) is very real.”
