Nikola Vlasic could leave Premier League giants West Ham United this month with Torino looking to lure the Croatia international to Serie A, agent Toni Martic tells Euro Football.
The trail to Turin appeared to have grown cold for West Ham’s £25 million misfit.
But things are heating up again, and not a moment too soon. Italian reporter Gianluca Di Marzio reported on Thursday that Granata director Davide Vagnati is pushing for Vlasic’s arrival. The former Everton flop, who failed to score a single goal in just six Premier League starts after returning to England last summer, is reportedly available either to buy or loan.
One of the worst pound-for-pound signings in recent windows? It’s certainly difficult to disagree with such an assessment.
“Yes, it is possible,” Martic said when quizzed on his client’s uncertain future at the London Stadium. “Let’s not rush and see what happens in the near future.”
Nikola Vlasic could leave West Ham United already

Vlasic was utilised on the left-hand side of West Ham’s attack more often than not by David Moyes last season. The imminent arrival of Maxwel Cornet from Burnley, then, threatens to push the former CSKA Moscow talisman even further down the Scot’s pecking order. West Ham also retain an interest in Eintracht Frankfurt’s jet-heeled assist-machine Filip Kostic.
“I believe in Vlasic. I know there are a lot of teams that would like to sign him or take him on loan,” Ivica Olic, the 24-year-old’s former CSKA coach, said earlier in the window.
“If West Ham give him the opportunity, then Nicola will change teams (and join a club) where he will be given the chance play and where he can get in better shape. This will help him again become one of the leaders of the Croatian national team.
“I wish this for him from the bottom of my heart. I spoke with him. He wants to stay in Europe. For example, to test himself in the German or Spanish championships. He has options.”
