Leeds United attacker Kemar Roofe is yet to score for the club after signing for the club this summer, but it is surely only a matter of time before he gets going.
Roofe was Leeds United’s most expensive summer signing at £3 million from Oxford United [fee via BBC].
His early spell at the club has been made difficult by the fact he has been played in different positions, featuring out wide, behind the striker, and even leading the line for a short spell.

It has also been tricky for Roofe because the team as a whole have under performed, and the expectation on him to produce will also have been weighing down on him.
Roofe scored 25 goals in all competitions last season, and once one goal goes in for him, more will surely follow.

He has been unlucky so far, hitting the bar with an acrobatic volley in the EFL Cup win over Luton Town last month.
Roofe already has an assist to his name, and was a real danger in the win over Blackburn Rovers in midweek, nearly doubling the side’s 1-0 lead, with his shot well saved.
A calf injury meant he missed the league win over Rovers, and was on the bench against Cardiff City at the weekend, and while Leeds keep on winning, he will find it harder to break into the starting line-up.
Yet his effort stands out whenever he is on the pitch, and it is only a matter of time before more opportunities come his way, and he starts proving he is worth the money Leeds paid for him.
Once he does kick on, Leeds will start to look like a different side, and begin really hauling themselves up the league table.
