Paul Robinson has slammed Rodrigo for his error in a Leeds United shirt today.
With four goals in seven Premier League outings, Rodrigo went into the game as perhaps the Whites’ most reliable player in what’s been a mixed season for Jesse Marsch’s outfit.
However, the former Spain international proved himself very unreliable at Elland Road today.
Leeds fell behind to Arsenal in the first half and it was a crazy cross-field ball from the former Valencia forward that wound up costing the hosts, with Bukayo Saka thumping the visitors ahead.

And speaking during his co-commentary, Robinson was at a loss to explain Rodrigo’s thinking.
He said on Optus Sport: “I don’t know what he was thinking. It’s a long, hopeful ball across the field to his own left-back. It put Leeds in all sorts of trouble. There’s no ball to play. That’s a real blow. It’s not on. There was no ball for him to play there.”
Marsch hauled off the Spaniard – who earns £57,000 per week in West Yorkshire – for Patrick Bamford at half time and the latter wound up missing a penalty midway through the second half to compound Leeds’ problems.
