
Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media are rather downhearted after The Telegraph posted an update on their pursuit of Takehiro Tomiyasu.
The Telegraph report that Spurs are keen to sign Tomiyasu during the Olympics, but they’re also some way short of Bologna’s asking price at the moment.
As you can imagine, Spurs fans weren’t best pleased to hear that this transfer isn’t progressing in the way you’d hope it would.
Tottenham supporters want this transfer to go through without any hiccups, but it seems as though things won’t be all that simple and this one could drag on for a number of weeks.
Understandably, Spurs fans were a little downhearted by this update as it seems as though this one could take a while to get over the line and the club are haggling over the asking price.
Sadly, it seems as though the same issues that plagued Daniel Levy’s transfer dealings are cropping up with this deal, and the fanbase are less than impressed.
