The Spaniard has turned things around in a major way in North London over the past four week.
Arsenal kicked off September on the back of three Premier League defeats and Arteta was probably the most under pressure of any head coach in the division.
Fast forward a month and Arteta has inspired the Gunners to a three-match winning streak, culminating in being nominated for the Manager of the Month award for last month.
The 39-year-old is up against some big names – like Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola of Liverpool and Manchester City – but the North Londoners’ man might well win it.

You have to give Arteta a lot of credit – but not too much credit.
Yes Arsenal are looking like a different team these days, but it must be noted that their three wins were against Norwich, Burnley and Tottenham.
Those three have 11 points between them in the Premier League this season – and nine of them are from Spurs, which sums up Norwich and Burnley’s issues.
That being said, there’s no doubt that the victories are helping Arsenal gather much-needed momentum and few would be surprised to see them win at Brighton this weekend.
