The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has been in excellent form this season.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino addressed the media yesterday, and provided an injury update on Moussa Sissoko, after the Frenchman was forced off during the first-half of their defeat to Manchester United at Wembley Stadium, as quoted by Football.London.
The 29-year-old has really turned things around at Spurs this season, having initially struggled to settle in north London, following his £30 million switch from Newcastle United in the summer of 2016.
Many fans and pundits had already written the France international off, but it is a sign of his resurgence that Tottenham fans were genuinely worried when he hobbled off against United yesterday.
Pochettino allayed their fears, however, when speaking to reporters, suggesting that Sissoko’s injury is not a serious one, as quoted by Football.London:

“No it was groin, a small thing in his groin. Let’s hope it is not a big issue. I think Moussa is only a small thing but we will see.”
Tottenham’s Harry Kane also picked up an injury yesterday, although the Englishman’s seemed to be far worse than the Frenchman’s.
Pochettino needs all of his players to be fully fit and firing for the remainder of the campaign, but as things stand, injuries might just derail their hopes of ending their 11-year wait for a major trophy.
