Jose Enrique has stated that Dejan Kulusevski is ‘world-class’ alongside Tottenham Hotspur duo Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, as he told Stadium Astro.
The former Premier League defender added that ‘it’s normal’ for teams, and Tottenham are no exception, to miss their ‘world-class’ players, as he dropped Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Dejan Kulusevki’s names into the hat.
On Sunday, Spurs suffered a 2-1 defeat to Liverpool, with Mo Salah’s first-half brace proving to be the difference.

As pe for Antonio Conte’s side, they were nowhere near it in the first half and started to pick up their tempo after the break.
But with Kane being the only bonafide and out-and-out attacker on the pitch, then it was pretty difficult for Spurs to muster proper goalscoring chances, until Kulusevski entered the pitch, and within minutes, he was assisting Tottenham’s main man.
Enrique spoke about the north London club’s reliance on a player like Kulusevski and how every club has those players that are so important to them.
“I think all the top clubs are depending on world-class players they have in the team,” said Enrique “It’s Kulusevski (for Tottenham now), but if Harry Kane wasn’t in the side, then they would be missing Harry Kane.
“If Salah wasn’t on the side, then Liverpool probably wouldn’t beat Spurs. It’s how it is, they are missing them. Son, they miss him against Liverpool. If Son was there, then I am sure it would have been a completely different game.
“It’s normal that they would miss that. It’s why Conte said ‘they need a few more transfer windows to keep improving the team’. It’s not just the team, but the squad.”

KULUSEVSKI HAS BEEN A TOP PURCHASE
Technically, the 22-year-old is still a Juventus player because he has been on-loan at the club since last January, but it will only be a matter of time before that’s made permanent.
There were doubts over Kulusevski’s development in Turin, but those who raised those questions are now singing his praises because he has been an outstanding addition to this Spurs side.
