It is claimed that Leeds are hoping to persuade Palace to accept a cut-price deal, worth around £2 million, for Mutch, who is out of favour at Selhurst Park.
And the report adds the Whites – who sold midfielder Liam Bridcutt to Nottingham Forest this week – would be willing to take the 25-year-old on a season-long loan if an agreement cannot be reached.

Palace are said to have paid around £4.7 million to sign Mutch from Queens Park Rangers in January 2015, but the former England Under-21 has struggled to make a positive impression in that time and was loaned to Reading last season.
The prospect of selling him to Leeds, therefore, has prompted an excited reaction in south London.
