Speaking on Soccer AM (Sky Sports 28/11/20 10:30AM), Ex-Tottenham ace Jamie O’Hara has completely mugged off Arsenal when talking about the upcoming north London derby.
O’Hara was previewing Spurs’ upcoming games, and while he said that their game against Chelsea this weekend will be a tough one, he wasn’t willing to pay the same type of respect to Arsenal.
“I think it’s going be a tough, tough fixture, but if we can get through this one, then we’ve got Arsenal as well.” O’Hara said.
“If we can scrape through them couple of games, well Arsenal is an easy one really, mid-table outfit, it’s like playing West Brom isn’t it?”

Spurs fans will love to hear one of their former players giving it to the Gunners like this, but these could be some famous last words.
Despite the fact Toby Alderweireld is set to miss this game, O’Hara seems confident that Tottenham will win.
Arsenal haven’t been good this season, and right now they are indeed a mid-table outfit, but they have proven that they’re capable of taking points off of the top teams, winning the FA Cup last season, while their last league win came against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Of course, O’Hara’s comment is tongue-in-cheek and Arsenal will provide a tougher challenge than West Brom, but the fact that an ex-Spurs player is willing to say this sort of thing on television, just shows the power shift that has occurred in north London over the past few years.
O’Hara’s comments will certainly add fuel to an already stoked fire ahead of one of the fiercest derbies in English football.
