Nigel de Jong and Andy Gray told beIN SPORTS (22/11/20 at 8:15 pm) that the ‘unbelievable’ Diogo Jota cannot be dropped by Liverpool now.
The 23-year-old was at it again over the weekend when he scored during Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Leicester City.
Liverpool’s forward line has always consisted of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah, with no-one being able to spoil their party upfront until Jota arrived.
Ex-Man City midfielder, De Jong, and former Everton hero, Gray, were full of praise for the thriving star.
“It’s just unbelievable, isn’t it?!” said de Jong. “The kind of impact he has had on this Liverpool side. It was very important for Liverpool to have a back-up for the front three.
Andy Gray added: “I don’t think he is droppable right now. How could you drop him, right now? How could you leave him out of the side? I don’t think you can.”

Jurgen Klopp was so adamant about playing all the forward players that he deployed a four-man attack, when they were all available, during Liverpool’s draw at Manchester City before the international break.
With Salah returning to training, Liverpool fans may now get used to a fabulous four ripping opposition teams up rather than a three, whilst their depleted defence tries to repair itself.
Given the workman-like midfield Klopp has at his disposal, the German can afford to be top-heavy and it has to take something special to stop either player from getting on the scoresheet.
