Speaking on Sky Sports News, 31/8/21 (2:30PM), Clinton Morrison has been speaking about Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

The Frenchman is seemingly out of Nuno Espirito Santo’s plans at the moment, and Spurs even tried to sell him before the transfer deadline.

Morrison says that Ndombele is a very talented player and he says he’d like to see more of him, but sadly, the pundit believes he’s not working hard enough.

What’s been said?

Morrison gave his view on Ndombele.

“Ndombele I would like to see him at Tottenham, I love Ndombele, he’s a talented individual. I don’t know, it’s his fitness, as a player individually, Jose Mourinho questioned his fitness, and now it looks like he’s not working hard enough. He is a talented individual, but sometimes you have to look yourself in the mirror and say ‘am I doing enough?’” Morrison said.

Never-ending problem

Sadly it looks as though this could be a never-ending problem for Tottenham and Ndombele.

Here we are, two years after he joined and his fitness and workrate is still an issue.

This is a problem that has plagued him throughout his career in England, and while things were looking up under Jose Mourinho at one point, he seems to have once again regressed.

Sadly, Morrison may not get his wish when it comes to hoping to see more of Ndombele as it looks as though he’s not in the new manager’s plans.

However, as Morrison says, Ndombele is talented, so if he can fix the other areas of his game he could still be an asset.
