Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after Dominik Szoboszlai liked an Instagram post displaying the 4-1 win over Rapid Wien last night.
The RB Salzburg wonderkid is believed to be a target for the Gunners, according to The Athletic.
It is also mentioned by The Athletic that the 12-cap Hungary international has a £22 million release clause which expires in the middle of January.
In that respect, we feel a number of clubs will be involved in a scramble to sign him before that release clause disappears – AC Milan and RB Leipzig are also keen, as The Athletic state.
Again according to The Athletic, Arsenal do have a few concerns over the 20-year-old attacking midfielder.
The Gunners are worried about his defensive capabilities and also his ball retention skills.
The north Londoners are also unsure about whether or not a more experienced signing might be a better idea.
In our view, the defensive aspect of his game and ball retention can be coached, so Arsenal would be foolish to ignore Szoboszlai if they get the chance to sign him.
In 17 appearances this season, the Budapest-born wonderkid has scored eight goals and assisted a further nine.
He is exactly the sort of creative presence desperately needed at the Emirates right now.
