Arsenal players took to social media after their side’s 3-0 win over Hull City on Sunday afternoon.
Arsenal players had something to celebrate on Sunday afternoon as their 3-0 victory over Hull City saw them creep ever closer to Champions League qualification once again.
There is still a little way to go, but a win that came courtesy of a goal from Aaron Ramsey and a Lukas Podolski brace is one to be savoured at this late stage of the season.
After the match – as is becoming custom for some of the Gunners players – they took to Twitter and Instagram to post pictures and messages of thanks and celebration.
Mesut Ozil – playing his first match in a month after a hamstring injury – said it felt great to be back and thanked the fans for their support.
Aaron Ramsey – starting his first match since a thigh muscle strain – was also pleased to be back doing what he does so well.
“First league start in four months,” he wrote. “Good to be back.”
While two-goal hero Lukas Podolski claimed the result was “perfect,” as he posted a dressing room photograph of some of his teammates that you can see above.
