‘It’s funny’: Some Rangers fans react to Sky’s tweet about guard of honour

Rangers supporters have bombarded Sky Sports tweet where Brendan Rodgers has shared his views on the guard of honour.

The Leicester City boss thinks his former club should show ‘humility’ and ‘class’ by providing Rangers with a guard of honour on Sunday.

Some Rangers supporters are in agreement with their former rival, whilst others have made it clear that they don’t want to see such a thing.

There are rivalries for a reason and a selection of Rangers fans think it should stay that way and they don’t want to see a guard of honour.

Whatever happens on Sunday, the Rangers supporters, the players and Steven Gerrard himself won’t care what reception they get at the start because they are going to Parkhead as the champions.

But it does seem that it will be a talking point after the game, whether Celtic give the GOH or whether they don’t.

Whilst there is all this talk about the GOH, it needs to be remembered that Rangers are still unbeaten in the Premiership.

And they don’t want to lose that unbeaten record to their rivals, that’s for sure.
