Liverpool fans on Twitter just aren’t buying a piece of injury news regarding Bruno Fernandes.
Jurgen Klopp’s side visit Manchester United at Old Trafford in a massive Premier League game tomorrow evening.
But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that the Portuguese maestro is an injury doubt.
The 27-year-old is a huge player for the Red Devils and it’s good news for Liverpool if he is genuinely sidelined.
That being said, some fans of the Anfield club are refusing to believe Solskjaer, accusing the Norwegian coach of mindgames.
Here’s what the Liverpool supporters are saying:
Phenomenal
Whether Solskjaer is channeling Fergie or not, it would boost Liverpool if he’s out.
Some Reds fans might argue that the former Sporting playmaker wouldn’t have hurt them anyway.
But with 30 goals and 21 assists from 59 Premier League outings, these are phenomenal numbers for an attacking midfielder and Klopp will no doubt be secretly pleased if he’s genuinely absent.
Klopp’s side are unbeaten in their last 18 Premier League games and therefore will probably be favourites to win at the Theatre of Dreams, for a second year on the spin.
It was only back in May when the German masterminded a 4-2 win away to United for his victory at their ground since joining Liverpool back in 2015.
And if Fernandes is out, the likelyhood of back-to-back triumphs goes up significantly.
