Arsenal fans are not impressed with the Folarin Balogun saga.
On Wednesday, Mikel Arteta shared an update on the Arsenal 20-year-old’s future at the club.
Arteta told this pre-match press conference that he is ‘pretty positive’ the out-of-contract star will stay in North London.
Added with that, the Arsenal boss shared that Balogun told him that he is ‘determined to stay’ at the club.
Arsenal fans are split on what that means and what will happen to the highly-rated star.
Some Arsenal fans think he will be heading for the exit door because it has taken way too long to tie him down to a new deal.
Whilst others are urging the club to do the business because they know the talent he has in his boots.
When Arsenal fans see the likes of Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe thriving in their boyhood colours then it’s understandable that they see Balogun as someone who can join them in the first-team if he sorts his future out.
But given how all of this has been handled, it isn’t a surprise that some Arsenal fans are seeing the negative side to it because they don’t want to lose a talented footballer for very little.
