Leeds United defender says he has penned permanent deal.
Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson says he has joined the club on a permanent basis, according to Swedish newspaper Expressen.
Speaking to the paper, Jansson said: “I am forever grateful for all the love I received, from people in Leeds but also from all those who follow me in Sweden.
“It has been a little stressful not one hundred percent belong to a club so it feels extra nice now that it’s clear.
“Now I can put the focus on the Leeds and the war that we are ready in the summer to come to the Premier League.”

Jansson was a summer loan signing from Serie A side Torino, where he had struggled for game time due to injury.
Last night he played his 22nd game of the season for the club, the number required for the club to trigger a clause in his contract to sign him permanently.

Leeds are currently in third in the table and gunning for promotion, with Jansson a key part of their success, striking up a partnership with Kyle Bartley at the back.
The Whites are yet to confirm the deal at their end, but he would become the second signing of the transfer window, following Pablo Hernandez by converting his loan deal to permanent.
Expressen report Jansson has put pen to paper on a four year deal, although it may not be formally converted from a loan until July.
