Tottenham Hotspur have just emerged from an extremely busy period of games.

Tottenham forward Lucas Moura sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and admitted that his side’s hectic schedule over the past month was something that he has never experienced before during his time in the game.
Spurs played seven games during the course of a 21 day period, and emerged with an impressive five victories and a draw.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have, in fact, made their best ever start in the Premier League era, taking 27 points from their opening 12 league outings.
Tottenham currently sit in fourth spot in the Premier League table, and Lucas has played a major role for them this season.
The Brazilian sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and admitted that his side’s recent hectic schedule has been something that he has never experienced before:

“I’ve never done that before, no. It’s crazy – and they are all big games! It’s good and we know we always need to be ready. That’s why we prepare well for every game and I rest at home when I can. There are a lot of difficult games, physical games and I need to be ready, to look after myself, to rest and prepare. It wasn’t an easy month, lots of difficult games and I think we are doing well. I’m very proud of my team-mates.”
Tottenham are not in action again for another eight days, when they welcome Chelsea to Wembley Stadium, and Lucas Moura and co will have to be on their very best form, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of beating Maurizio Sarri’s men.
