Reported Aston Villa and West Ham target, Tammy Abraham, has admitted on Instagram that it has been ‘tough’ for him after he returned to action for Chelsea over the weekend.
Whilst it was only a three-minute cameo from the bench, Abraham returned to Premier League action for the first time since February.
He may be finding that his game time in West London is decreasing, but the lists of clubs wanting to secure his signature is seemingly increasing.
Added with the likes of West Ham, Aston Villa and Southampton, it now seems as though Newcastle have joined the race for Abraham’s signature this summer, according to TeamTalk.
A player of immense quality and quick-thinking intelligence inside the penalty area, it is a crying shame that Abraham has only started 11 Premier League games this season.
Despite that limited game time, he still manages to find himself as Chelsea’s highest goal-getter this season, and after scoring 15 in 34 league games last term, he has been deserving of more minutes on the pitch.
But perhaps that will come at either West Ham, Villa, Newcastle or Southampton next season?
The one that sticks out is Villa because he was on-loan at the Midlands giants during their promotion to England’s top-flight two seasons ago.
But from the interested parties, it’s the Hammers who are heading towards Europe and potentially the Champions League, which might just tip it over the edge if there is a tug-of-war for his talents this summer.
