Troy Deeney has waxed-lyrical about Arsenal’s rising star Bukayo Saka on talkSPORT and how he ‘effortlessly’ glides with the ball.
The Watford hitman was praising Manchester City’s very own Phil Foden when he started comparing the playmaker to the Arsenal academy product.
England have an abundance of attacking talent coming through and someone, somewhere, is going to be left disappointed at missing out on playing for their country.
Nonetheless, this is what Deeney had to say about both Foden and Saka on the ball.
“It’s the way that he [Foden] glides,” said Deeney. “I love seeing players, like him. Saka as well.
“When they start getting in their stride, it’s like they are gliding with the ball effortlessly. It’s beautiful to watch.”

Saka and Foden aren’t the only English attackers wowing supporters in the Premier League today.
Jack Grealish, Mason Mount, Mason Greenwood and James Maddison are just a few others putting opposition players on their backside.
In terms of goal involvements, Grealish tops the list when it comes to English players in his position, whilst he has also created the most chances in the Premier League this season.
