Torino defender Gleison Bremer has admitted he’s in the dark about reported Liverpool interest amid ongoing links with Jurgen Klopp’s Premier League champions, speaking to La Repubblica.
In March, the 24-year-old Brazilian thrived where so many talented centre-halves have failed this season.
It’s not often Romelu Lukaku has been kept quiet in Serie A. But, when Inter Milan’s brilliant, bludgeoning Belgian travelled to Turin, he didn’t expect to endure one of his quietest nights in a Nerazzurri shirt.
The usually irrepressible Lukaku was restricted to spectator status by a brilliant Bremer performance, Torino’s Mr Dependable producing another display full of character and quality at centre-half.
In truth, it was the sort of performance that highlighted why Liverpool are taking a keen interest heading into the summer transfer window – at least, according to The Mirror in February.
But while the phrase ‘no smoke without fire’ springs to mind, Bremer appears to be in the dark as speculation regarding a potential switch to Anfield ramps up.

“Everyone talks about Liverpool but I don’t know anything,” says the former Atletico Mineiro man, who went on to play down Klopp’s alleged admiration for him.
“It’s an urban legend that Klopp came to compliment me. I’m fine in Turin, especially now I’ve overcome the language barrier.”
According to ToroNews a few weeks ago, West Ham United, Fulham and Merseyside rivals Everton have joined Liverpool in the race for Bremer’s £10 million-rated signature.
