Leicester City star Wesley Fofana has opened up on his dream of one day playing for La Liga side Real Madrid.
In an interview with French YouTube channel Oh My Goal, the 20-year-old centre-back revealed that playing for Los Blancos is a career goal of his. Fofana also stated that it would be an honour to one day play for Madrid.
The former Saint-Etienne star will miss most of this season after the defender broke his leg in a pre-season friendly.
Fofana was one of Leicester’s best players last campaign after arriving from France for £36.5m.
The defender was key to Leicester winning the FA Cup and once again qualifying for Europe. The Foxes finished fifth in the Premier League despite spending the majority of the campaign inside the top-four.
And when asked about a potential move to Madrid, Fofana couldn’t contain his dream of one day playing for the Spanish giants.

The youngster said on recent rumours: “Rumours of Real Madrid? It’s an honour, Real Madrid is the club of my dreams. It’s the biggest club in the world and my dream is to play there.”
As per Marca, Madrid have identified Fofana as a potential target for the future. Carlo Ancelotti’s side, who currently sit top of the La Liga table, lost both Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos this summer.
Indeed, the injury to Fofana has likely put any plans of a move on hold for a while. And for Leicester fans, they will be hoping that the French defender returns to action this season.
