Sir Alex Ferguson has raved about Rangers manager Steven Gerrard, as quoted in The Guardian.
The former Manchester United manager has been impressed by the work that Gerrard has done at Rangers.
Ferguson, who played for Rangers in the 1960s, has praised the way the Liverpool manager conducts himself in interviews.
The Scotsman told The Guardian: “Oh, he’s done magnificent. He really has, both on and off the field. A press interview can lose you your job in management.
“But Steven’s press conferences are fantastic. He’s cool, he’s composed, he gives the right answers. He’s really top because it’s an art.”
Gerrard was appointed as the Rangers manager in the summer of 2018.
Rangers have grown as a team under Gerrard, and this season they won the Scottish Premiership title.

The Gers’ success saw Celtic’s hopes of making it 10 league titles in a row evaporate.
What is also encouraging is that Rangers reached the Europa League Round of 16 this campaign.
The Gers will now hope to qualify for the Champions League next season.
Rangers have a good team, and the Ibrox fans will be optimistic about the side making it into Europe’s premier club competition next season.

Meanwhile, Fashion Sakala has said that he has turned down the chance to move to the Premier League to work with Gerrard at Rangers.
As reported by The Scottish Sun, the striker will join Rangers in the summer transfer window.
Sakala told QFM, as transcribed by The Scottish Sun: “Honestly, I had a lot of options.
“I had teams in the Premier League, three teams from England. I had two teams from France, in Ligue 1. I also had a lot of options from Spain, in La Liga.”
The striker added: “Looking at the profile of Steven Gerrard, the first time he called me he told me that I’m a very good player and I have a lot to achieve. And looking at his profile, him telling me that really touched my heart.”
