Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have responded negatively to a tweet from Sky Sports’ account.
Kane gave an interview to The Daily Mail on Saturday night and refused to speak about his future.
The 27-year-old’s long-term future is bound to be a subject of much debate once again this summer.
This time last year, Kane revealed that he would prefer to win the Premier League over becoming the competition’s all-time record goalscorer and although Tottenham were top of the table in December, they are now sixth and may not even finish in the top four.
The Lilywhites hitman is once again enjoying a fine season in North London and has 27 goals and 16 assists from 40 games across all competitions.
And yet if Jose Mourinho’s side win the League Cup next month – and the final is against runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City – then it’ll be the only thing he has won in his whole career.
Sky Sports weighed into the topic of Kane’s future this morning and asked their followers where the England international would be come next season.
And suffice to say Tottenham fans weren’t entirely pleased by the move:
