Ryan Mason has admitted that he wishes Leeds United fans were in attendance at Elland Road ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s match against them on Saturday.
Speaking on the club’s official app, Mason admitted that his Tottenham side face a tough challenge against Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United outfit.
But he still wishes that Leeds fans were at the stadium, alongside Tottenham’s, to roar their teams on.
“It’s a shame that the fans aren’t in the stadium to be honest, because I think it would have been electric from both sets of supporters,” he said.
“But it will be a tough match, it’s a Premier League match and they’re all difficult, but we believe in the way that we work and we’re fit and strong and we’re ready.”
Mason’s comments may well suggest that Tottenham are coming to play an attacking game at Leeds.
The interim boss has already suggested that he wants to play aggressive and attacking football and he has tried to do so to date.

Mason has picked up two wins in his first two Premier League games in charge, with Spurs scoring six goals in that time.
Tottenham also know that they will surely have to win all four of their remaining fixtures to have any chance of qualifying for the Champions League.
However, getting past Leeds has proven tough for some of the Premier League’s strongest sides, with both Manchester City and Manchester United failing to win at Elland Road recently.
