The latest report suggests Spurs may have suffered another delay in their hunt to find Jose Mourinho’s replacement.
It is now well over a month since Tottenham parted company with the Portuguese boss.
And Spurs fans are rapidly losing patience with Daniel Levy, as he continues to search for a new manager.
The time is now
Tottenham simply cannot afford for time to drag on for too much longer otherwise they risk being left behind by their Premier League rivals.
Spurs had the final weeks of the campaign to sort out a new boss, but have failed to do so – with their plan still not entirely clear.
If Spurs wait too much longer they risk having to finalise pre-season and transfer plans too late, which could immediately put their new manager on the back foot.
While it is understandable that Levy wants to ensure he gets this appointment correct, there surely must be a realisation that the need for urgency is growing.
Tottenham are set for a summer of big change, and whoever their new manager is would benefit from having increased time to plan ahead of next season.
