Chelsea fans have reacted on Twitter to the possibility that they may now land Arsenal-linked Thomas Partey, added with the rumours that the Gunners are also keen on Jorginho.
The Guardian have claimed that Arsenal’s London rivals view Partey as an option in the middle of the park if they are unable to secure the services of Declan Rice from West Ham.
Sky Sports previously reported that Atletico Madrid’s engine in midfield is attracting the interest of Arsenal, whilst Sky also claimed that Mikel Arteta wants to bring Jorginho to the Emirates.
All summer long, Arsenal fans have wanted their club to sign Partey and if he does end up at Stamford Bridge then it will be a surprising and sucker-punch twist which will not sit well with those fans in North London.
The Chelsea fans on Twitter have admitted that it would be amazing if they somehow managed to sign the box-to-box powerhouse and sold Jorginho to their rivals instead.
The summer transfer window will slam shut on Monday evening, so there’s not long left for clubs to conclude their last-minute deals.

Whilst Chelsea have been ultra-busy during this window, Arsenal have made some changes, but quite clearly, a signing such as Partey is the one their fans crave the most.
Whilst Frank Lampard’s side secured their first clean sheet of the season on Saturday when they beat Crystal Palace 4-0, it still seems as though some defensive bite would be useful in the middle of the park.
Jorginho netted a brace during that game and whilst some Blues fans acknowledge they need him, or he would be a useful player for Arteta, it seems the signing of Partey would excite them somewhat.
