Roberto Mancini has backed Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

Italy boss Roberto Mancini has backed Jurgen Klopp after he won best manager at FIFA’s annual awards ceremony.
Klopp led Liverpool to the Champions League, beating Tottenham 2-0 in the final.
Mancini told Tuttomercatoweb that it is undisputable that Klopp should have won the award.
He said: “I don’t think there should be any doubt that Klopp should be the coach of the year, with what he did and won.”
Klopp beat one of Mancini’s Manchester City successors to the award, Pep Guardiola.

Guardiola won the domestic treble in England, including pipping Liverpool to the Premier League title by a single point.
His City side were eliminated from the Champions League by Tottenham Hotspur in the quarter-finals.
Klopp’s Liverpool have a chance to take their first step towards another trophy this week when they kick off their Carabao Cup campaign against MK Dons.
City’s defence of the trophy begins tonight away at Preston North End.
