Tottenham Hotspur are once again being linked with AC Milan’s Suso.
According to Italian newspaper Leggo, Tottenham Hotspur are back in pursuit of AC Milan wide man Suso – and want to pip Liverpool to his signature.
Suso, 24, started out with hometown club Cadiz before heading to Liverpool in 2010, where he made just 21 first-team appearances in a frustrating spell.
The Spaniard moved on to AC Milan in the summer of 2014, and after a slow start – and a loan to Genoa – Suso has become a star at the San Siro, as he notched seven goals and nine assists last season.
Eight goals and five assists this term have cemented Suso as one of the top talents in Serie A, and he is now being strongly linked with a return to the Premier League.
Italian newspaper Leggo report that Tottenham Hotspur are once again keen on Suso after numerous links in recent years, with a move possible in this summer’s transfer window.
It’s claimed that Liverpool are keen to lure Suso back to Anfield this summer, but Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino wants to pip Jurgen Klopp to his signature in a deal which could cost around €40million (£35million).
Primarily a right-sided winger who loves to cut in on his left foot, Suso is more about technical ability than raw pace, and could provide Pochettino with another creative talent if Spurs do pursue a deal this summer.
