It has been reported by the Italian news outlet that Foyth is set to leave Tottenham this summer.
However, Serie A outfit Sampdoria will face competition for the 22-year-old central defender, with The Mirror recently claiming that Barcelona are interested in securing the services of the Argentina international this summer.
Leaving Tottenham Hotspur
Foyth has failed to make a huge impact at Tottenham and is not guaranteed a place in the starting lineup.
The 22-year-old has played just 67 minutes in the Premier League and only 197 minutes in the Champions League for Spurs so far this season, according to WhoScored.
The Argentine has not progressed as much as Spurs would have liked, and it would make sense for the North London outfit to sell him this summer.
Amid the economic uncertainty caused by the global health crisis, it remains to be seen how much Sampdoria and Barcelona are willing to pay for Foyth, who cost Spurs £8 million in transfer fees, as reported by The Daily Mail.
Meanwhile, The Southern Daily Echo has reported that neither Tottenham Hotspur nor Everton have made contact with Southampton regrading a move for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg despite their interest in the 24-year-old midfielder.
