According to Italian newspaper Il Mattino, Napoli have rejected £25million bids from both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Piotr Zielinski.
Zielinski, 23, joined Napoli from Udinese last summer after an impressive two-year loan spell with Empoli, and he enjoyed a fine season under Maurizio Sarri.

The Polish international hit six goals and seven assists in all competitions this past season, playing a total of 47 games for Napoli as he featured prominently at the Stadio San Paolo.
Now, Italian newspaper Il Mattino report that both Liverpool and Tottenham have made £25million bids to sign Zielinski this summer – but those offers have been rejected by Napoli.

Liverpool were strongly linked with a move to sign Zielinski last summer, but they lost out to Napoli in the race to sign him after he featured for Poland at Euro 2016.
The Reds were without Jordan Henderson for the final three months of the season and were caught short in terms of squad depth over the course of the campaign, with Klopp seemingly keen to finally land Zielinski and boost his midfield options.

Meanwhile, Tottenham’s switch to a 3-4-2-1 system has seen Eric Dier drop into defence, and Harry Winks’ injury has left Mauricio Pochettino short of midfield depth behind Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele, with Zielinski potentially seen as a player who could bring some creativity to the middle of the park.
However, with £25million bids allegedly failing, it remains to be seen whether Liverpool or Spurs return with new bids in an attempt to convince Napoli into selling their diminutive midfielder this summer.
