Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba may be moving closer to joining Manchester United.
Paul Pogba in action for Manchester United
According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport, Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has flown to England and will undergo a medical with Manchester United on Sunday.
Pogba, 23, has already had one spell with United having signed from Le Havre back in 2009, but made just seven appearances in three years before heading off to Juventus in the summer of 2012.
France’s Paul Pogba
Since signing for Juve, Pogba has become one of the world’s top players, hitting 34 goals in 178 games from midfield for the Italian side to help them to the Serie A title in each season he has played for the Turin side.
Now, Pogba is in demand, as former club United and their new manager Jose Mourinho are attempting to lure the powerful midfielder back to Old Trafford in a world-record transfer.

After weeks of speculation, Pogba appears to be nearing a €110m (£93.3m) move to Old Trafford according to Gazzetta dello Sport, as they claim that Pogba has secretly arrived in Manchester today.
It’s added that Pogba will undergo a medical with the Red Devils on Sunday, with his blockbuster deal seemingly moving ever closer, giving Mourinho another big signing after the arrivals of Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Gazzetta are one of the more reliable newspapers in Italy, but they also carry quotes from Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri, who claimed earlier today that Pogba will be back in training with Juve on Monday.
Until seen in Manchester or confirmed as a United player, fans will simply be hoping that the reports in Italy are true – and given tonight’s claims, Gazzetta seem confident that Pogba will be a United player once again in the near future.
