Italian outlet CMW claim that Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti is being considered by Liverpool if Jurgen Klopp leaves Anfield in the coming weeks and months – with Klopp coming under increasing pressure after a dismal run of form.
The Reds have won just three of 10 games in both league and cup since returning from the World Cup. They have been knocked out of the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup, sitting in a lowly tenth place in the Premier League so far, this term.
They take on Merseyside rivals Everton on Monday night at Anfield, a crucial game for both sides, for differing reasons. It is the first of three crucial games coming up – facing Merseyside rivals Everton, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
So, the pressure is now on Klopp. He has a contract at Liverpool until 2026 – but there are murmurs that he could leave the club, or even, be sacked. CMW say that the Reds are considering Napoli’s in-form manager in Italian boss Spalletti.

Napoli manager Spalletti considered by Liverpool if Klopp leaves Anfield
Spalletti, 63, is starring as Napoli boss. He guided Napoli to an impressive third place last season, but this term, has taken Napoli to a new level. They are a whopping 16 points clear at the top of the Serie A table, ahead of Inter Milan.
An incredible 19 wins from 22 league games. Napoli are also in the last 16 of the Champions League. They have got themselves a good draw in the form of Eintracht Frankfurt. He has clocked up exactly 1000 games in all competitions.
A two-time Russian Premier League winner, and a two-time Serie A manager of the year, Spalletti has never won the Serie A title. So, he will be staying at Napoli until the summer. But, come the summer, Liverpool could make their move.
