Tottenham Hotspur struck a big deal to finally bring in Fabio Paratici as their new director of football this summer.
Reports from way back in 2015 suggested that Tottenham had made a move to lure Paratici to North London.
Daniel Levy tried again in 2018, and finally landed his mine at the third attempt this summer as Tottenham begin a new era.
Paratici has already brought in two signings, with goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini and winger Bryan Gil both landed.
Cristian Romero could soon follow from Atalanta, whilst Takehiro Tomiyasu and Dusan Vlahovic remain on Paratici’s wish list.
Paratici may have to carefully navigate the situation surrounding Harry Kane, but the early signs have been positive.

Now, Italian agent Alessandro Canovi has offered his view on Paratici – and Tottenham fans will surely be excited.
Canovi has told Tuttomercatoweb that he predicts Paratici will ‘do something huge’ at Tottenham, just as he did with Juventus having played a key role in their rise back up to Italian football’s top club.
“He will do something huge as he did at Juventus,” said Canovi, with Tottenham fans no doubt hoping he is right.
